[Webinar] From Manuscript to Marketplace: WE DESERVE TO HEAL

The Authors Guild will host a webinar titled “From Manuscript to Marketplace: WE DESERVE TO HEAL.” The webinar will feature author and editor Patrice Gopo and senior acquisitions editor Abby Freeland. They will discuss the essay collection *We Deserve to Heal*, which features ten authors and was published by the University Press of Kentucky. The discussion will cover the book’s conception, composition, editorial process, and launch. Topics include assembling contributors, compensating contributors, shifting from writer to editor, finding a publisher, engaging with the editorial process, and marketing. A Q&A will follow the presentation, and a recording will be available.
