Lee Martindale (1949–2026)
Lee Martindale, a short fiction writer and editor, passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 77. She sold her first story in 1992 and went on to publish numerous works in magazines, anthologies, and her own collections. Martindale was a Lifetime Active Member of SFWA and received the Kevin O’Donnell Jr. Service to SFWA Award in 2019. She is survived by her husband, George.
